The Kunststoff-Institut Lüdenscheid concentrates on improving the quality and cost-efficiency of injection-molded parts made of thermoplastic and thermoset materials. As a private service provider, the Institute was established as an “extended workbench” and is one of the most experienced players in this sector. The range of service includes education, process engineering, materials engineering, mold technology, surface technology, testing, networking as well as research and development.
Our laboratory scope includes material testing, polymer analytics and surface testing with special knowledge in failure analysis and automotive testing.
We have a long-term expertise in materials engineering offering development and modification of plastic materials (application-oriented development, bio-based material, recycling, resource efficiency).
Recycling is viewed from different angles embracing standardization, quality assurance and testing, material development as well as social aspects.
